Welcome to the website of the Embassy of The Republic of Sudan in Berlin. The Website will provide you with an overview of the Republic of Sudan.

Sudan and Germany have long term relations and strong partnership, Sudan is an important partner for Germany in Africa. Through dialogue, we discuss issues related to the present and the future. There is no doubt that our bilateral relations have become stronger than ever, not only in the political and economic fields, but also in other areas such as cultural and educational exchanges.

My ambition as Ambassador is to deepen and further develop the existing cooperation between the two countries at all levels.

We are also keen to provide you in this website with information about Sudan, the function of the Embassy in Berlin and the services provided by the Consular Affairs.

Am Montag, den 24. Oktober 2022, überreichte Botschafterin Ilham I.M. Ahmed S.E. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Bundespräsident der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, zum außerordentlichen und bevollmächtigten Botschafter der Republik Sudan in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.

Accreditation of a new ambassador of the Republic of Sudan in Germany

On Monday, October 24, 2022, Ambassador Ilham I.M. Ahmed presented her credentials to H.E. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sudan to the Federal Republic of Germany.
