Foreign Minister Meets Secretary-General of the Islamic Call Organization

Secretary General of the Islamic CallMinister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohieddin Salim, met on Wednesday in his office with the Secretary-General of the Islamic Call Organization, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Adam. During the meeting, the Secretary-General reviewed the organization’s activities inside and outside Sudan, noting that it continues to carry out its humanitarian and outreach mission. He confirmed the organization’s return to its main headquarters in Khartoum and the resumption of its operations normally, despite the challenges faced during the previous period. He also expressed appreciation to the Government of Sudan for the facilitation and support it has provided since the organization’s establishment in 1980.
For his part, the Foreign Minister commended the organization’s efforts across various fields and welcomed its return to its headquarters in Khartoum following damages caused by the war. He reaffirmed the government’s readiness to continue providing the necessary support and facilitation to ensure the success of its programs and activities.
The Minister also expressed hope that the upcoming meeting of the organization’s Board of Trustees would yield positive outcomes that strengthen its role in serving communities inside and outside Sudan.
