Saudi Arabia Strongly Condemns the Targeting of Khartoum Airport

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the targeting of Khartoum Airport.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Sudan’s neighboring countries to respect Sudan’s sovereignty and independence and to prevent their territories from being used as a launch point for such attacks.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the statement reaffirmed the Kingdom’s firm position in calling for the preservation of Sudan’s unity, its legitimate institutions, the resources of its brotherly people, as well as its security and stability. It also stressed the importance of keeping civilian objects and vital facilities away from the conflict.
The Kingdom called for an immediate cessation of these violations and for respect of the commitments made in the Jeddah Declaration signed on May 11, 2023, regarding the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure, as well as adherence to international humanitarian law.
