Al-Burhan Inspects Blue Nile Region, Reaffirms State Commitment to Stability and Addressing War Repercussions

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, affirmed the state’s commitment to strengthening stability and supporting the efforts of the Government of Blue Nile Region in addressing the repercussions of the war.
During his visit to the region, Al-Burhan inspected a number of sites and reviewed efforts to provide citizens with essential needs following attacks carried out by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on several towns and areas.
The TSC President also held a meeting with the region’s Security Committee and received a comprehensive briefing on the latest security developments and the situation on the ground.
The briefing also covered efforts to strengthen security and stability, protect civilians, and monitor developments in the region’s service and humanitarian sectors.
