Sudan Condemns Houthi Attacks on Southern Saudi Arabia and Affirms Solidarity with Kingdom

MOFAThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan strongly condemned the attacks carried out by the Houthi group against areas in southern Saudi Arabia, describing them as a threat to the Kingdom’s security, territorial integrity and citizens, as well as to the security and stability of the region.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the ministry affirmed Sudan’s full solidarity with and support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government and people, in confronting anything that threatens its security, sovereignty and stability. It also affirmed the Kingdom’s right to take the necessary measures to protect its territory and citizens in accordance with international law.
Sudan reiterated its firm position calling for respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states and the rejection of acts of violence and escalation that could threaten regional security and peace.
The Republic of Sudan expressed its sincere solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wishing the Kingdom and its people continued security, stability and peace.
