TSC President Meets Dar Masalit Sultanate’s Delegation

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, met Sunday evening at the Republican Palace with a delegation from the Dar Masalit Sultanate in West Darfur State.
Sultan Saad Abdel-Rahman Bahr-Eddin, Sultan of Dar Masalit, said in a press statement that he briefed the TSC President on the objectives of the First Consultative Forum of the People of West Darfur – Dar Masalit Sultanate, held under the slogan “The Road to Al-Geneina.”
He noted that the forum aims to unify the state’s native administrations and civil components, build trust among them, and activate their role in the reconstruction and rebuilding phase, in addition to promoting peaceful coexistence and restoring the social fabric.
Sultan Bahr-Eddin added that the meeting discussed the overall developments in the state, the vision for the post-war phase, and efforts to achieve peace, security, and stability.
The delegation also extended congratulations to the Armed Forces and all supporting forces on the victories they have achieved, reaffirming the support of all components of West Darfur State for the Armed Forces as they are waging the Battle of Dignity, as well as their support for the legitimate state institutions.
