Foreign Minister Receives African Union Delegation
Foreign of Foreign Affair and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salim received an African Union delegation led by Special Envoy Ambassador Mohamed Beliesh.
Ambassador Beliesh stated that the purpose of the visit is to assess the situation in Sudan ahead of reopening the African Union office in Khartoum.
Minister Salim briefed the delegation on developments, including the government’s relocation to Khartoum, the resumption of UN and other organizations’ operations from the capital, the city’s stability, and the availability of essential services. He confirmed the ministry’s readiness to assist in reopening the AU office.
