TSC President Meets Ugandan President's Envoy

Ugandan EnvoyPresident of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, reaffirmed Sudan's commitment to strengthening and expanding its relations with the Republic of Uganda in a manner that serves the shared interests of both countries.
The remarks came during his meeting on Saturday with Uganda's presidential envoy and Director of the External Security Organisation, Ambassador Joseph Ocwet, in the presence of Director General of the General Intelligence Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
The Ugandan envoy conveyed greetings from President Yoweri Museveni to the TSC President and affirmed his country's commitment to supporting efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability in Sudan.
For his part, Ambassador Joseph Ocwet reiterated Uganda's firm rejection of the establishment of any parallel governing entities in Sudan, underscoring his country's support for Sudan's sovereignty, territorial integrity, security, and stability in ways that contribute to peace and stability across the region.
