Prime Minister Participates in Inaugural Session of Munich Security Conference

Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris, heading Sudan’s delegation to the Munich Security Conference, took part on Friday afternoon in the conference’s opening session, accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salim. The conference runs through Sunday.
The opening session was addressed by the conference chair, the Minister-President of the German state of Bavaria, and the German chancellor. Discussions are set to cover a wide range of regional and international challenges.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with several heads of delegations, in addition to addressing a dedicated session on the challenges of war and peace in Sudan.
