TSC Member Commends Dramatists’ Role in Addressing Social Threats

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nowara Abu Mohamed Tahir, has commended the contribution of dramatists in raising public awareness and confronting social threats arising from the ongoing war, as well as in rejecting behaviors that contradict Sudanese heritage and values.
During her meeting in Khartoum on Tuesday with a delegation of dramatists, Dr. Nowara underscored the importance of employing purposeful educational drama and various forms of art and culture to combat hate speech, racism, and nepotism in all their forms. She further called on cultural institutions and associations to actively promote solidarity and adherence to national principles that strengthen unity and peace.
For their part, the dramatists expressed appreciation for the leadership’s recognition of the role of drama and artists during this critical phase in the country’s history. They reaffirmed their commitment to delivering meaningful theatrical messages that safeguard society and present the Sudanese identity in its best light.
